EVENTS: ISSUES AND OPTIONS STAGE

Member and Officer Stakeholder Event

As part of the initial stakeholder engagement, elected members and council officers from the 10 Greater Manchester Authorities along with representatives from adjoining authorities were invited to attend an event on September 19th 2006. The event was facilitated by Adams Hendry consultants and aimed to gain insight into the delegates opinions on waste planning issues for Greater Manchester.

Public Stakeholder Event 1

Stakeholders were invited to attend the first public event on October 17th 2006. The event was facilitated by Adams Hendry consultants and aimed to gain insight into the delegates opinions on waste planning issues and options for Greater Manchester.

Public Stakeholder Event 2

The second stakeholder event was held on November 2006. The event was a follow up aimed to expand the issues and options for waste management facilities and policies across Greater Manchester, as discussed at the first event. Key stakeholders such as community groups, politicians and waste industry representatives attended the event.
